Nail stamping is a new nail art technique where design is transferred to your nail using a stamper.
Nail polish applied onto a metal plate with designs engraved on them. Which is then applied to the nail using a stamper. Do I need special nail polish for stamping? People do use regular nail polishes for stamping. But they are not that thick and pigmented as special stamping nail polishes. It’s often not transferring to the stamper. Special stamping nail polishes are designed to be creamier. Last longer, and are more pigmented and easier to pick up design to transfer. Nail stamps will give you the easiest nail art ever. Plates are made with ready engraved designs. That you can transfer on your nail using a specially designed stamp. In the beginning, it can be tricky but with practice, it comes very easy.
I have been doing nail stamping for a while and I love it
it’s loads of fun and you never get stuck with ideas. And what is the best part of it? That everyone admires them. You can see my designs here. Everything is in speed how you work as the groves are very small and tiny. They dry very quickly and it won’t pick up any design. Clear stampers are better because then you can see through. Transfer the design exactly where you would like to see your design. If the new jelly stamper does not work the way it’s supposed to. You can wash your stamper head under the tap with soap and allow it to air dry before using. Don’t use acetone, it can damage the jelly and you will end up buying a new one.
The stamper, scraper, and plates should be clean after every use with nail polish remover that does not contain any oils or moisturizers. The oils will create a protective layer over the jelly head of the stamp and will not allow to pick up the design.
