Gel polishes have stronger ingredients than regular nail polish.
Can last up to two weeks if been taken good care of.
Gel nails and Gel polish are two different things. So, gel nails are to straighten or lengthen your nails, but Gel polish is a type of polish that lasts longer than regular nail polish and must be cured under the lamp.
The gel is softer and more flexible
than acrylic, and it’s not as damaging.
You cannot
dry Gel polish without UV light. The process will be very time-consuming and the result won’t be of the quality you expected. It will remain runny and smudge. UV light is necessary because it dries Gel polish quickly and gives you a smooth finish.
If your day-to-day life includes hand washing more often than dip powder is a better solution.
LED flashlight won’t work for this process.
To remove Gel polish
soak off your fingertips in the bowl of acetone. Or cotton peace with acetone, wrapped around your nails in aluminum foil. However, it’s harder than remove Shellac which is kinder to your nails. Try not to pick Gel polish, it can cause damage to your nails, and bacteria can cause fungus.
If you rip it off it takes some layers of your nail with it and it can take up to 6 months to repair.
Gel polish worst enemy is hot water.
Try your best to avoid or keep them to a minimum in the water and wear gloves when you do the dishes and cleaning jobs.
Look after your hands.
